Tagged!! GREAT blogs for you to visit & a little about me

Seven things about me you may not know:
1. I love to cook, but have a hard time thinking what to make for dinner every night.
2. I used to play roller hockey on a co-ed league where I was the only woman.
3. I'm afraid of color! (All the walls in my home are beige!!)
4. My favorite music is metal and/or heavy metal (though I love almost all music).
5. I can do a little painting, drawing, sewing, crafting, but am master none.
6. I was born in Argentina and speak fluent Spanish.
7. I've played the piano since I was 11.

I was tagged by Nan at La Chambre Rose . What a great way to get to know new people and invite others to visit you. Everyone loves a friendly "Hello" so be sure to visit these beautiful blogs:

Lisa at A Thing for Roses makes great finds on her treasure hunts, then transforms them into beautiful things for her home.

Lea at Farmhouse Blessings is so creative and one of the nicest ladies! She also has a great giveaway going on until May 26th. Be sure to drop her a note and enter.

Becky at Just Bee'n Me has a wonderful blog and she is so very talented, too. You gotta check it out. She's got some great things coming up. Don't miss it!

Gina at Patra's Other Place lives in Australia and has a gorgeous collection of vintage linens. She's the one who first inspired me to start blogging and has several blogs of her own. Thanks Gina!

Michelle at Rose Garden Romantic is such a sweet and friendly lady. You'll love her! She makes beautiful altered art that brings back the beauty of years gone by.

If you want to see some beautiful (amazing really) embroidery, please stop by Yesteryear Embroideries. Kathleen does magic with needle and floss! Talk about talented!!

Last, but not least, is Becky at Sweet Cottage Dreams. Becky is the sweetest, nicest lady you will ever meet. She has the most wonderful blog! I promise you won't be disappointed if you visit her.

Oh you sweet woman, you!! What fun to read up about your 7 things about you. I had no clue you listened to heavy metal. Ok, now I envision you rocking out whilst ironing your linens! Singing into the iron to Motley Crue. haha. Def Leopard is one of my favs then the hunky Jon Bon Jovi rocks my world most!

Thanks for the tag and the sweet compliments! You are a wonderful friend!

((hugs))
Becky

Yep, I'm pretty mild mannered and conservative in appearance, so it's always a shock to people when they hear what I listen to. My son's friends think I'm cool...

Thanks so much, Patricia, for participating. I look at your linens often. (mine are still packed away.) We are lobbying to join you in Texas...right?...Austin for us...not sure IF or when...so I will continue to window shop here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I love your shop. I plan on posting some pictures today. I also stopped by your friend Yesteryear Embroidery...Wow! She's good too! I have been working on some pieces to add to some of my tote bags in my Etsy shop. How do you do Mederia? I would love to make some bridal bags that way. And what kind of fabric do you use for the pillow cases? I just can't seem to find what I want.

Well, thanks again!

Oh Patricia, I was just tickled pink when I stopped in to visit and saw my bunny there. Thank you. It is so sweet of you.

And yes, I will definately participate in your tag. What fun! It may take me a few days ... lots happening around here, but I will post as soon as it is ready.

And thanks also for including me on your favorite blogs list. I look forward to visiting your other friends as well.

Smiles,
Lea

In answer to Romantic Portuguese Daughter, I do not have the talent or the patience to embroider the beautiful linens in my store. I rely solely on the talent of the ladies from many, many years ago. Almost all my linens are vintage or antiques and were made by our wonderful mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers (and maybe even a few dads, too). Thank you for stopping by and dropping me a note. I hope to "see" you again soon.

How sweet of you Patricia! I have already had a couple of people stop by to say hello since you tagged me. Thank you for your sweet words. I will participate with the tag next week if that is ok? My daughter is graduating and these last two weeks are busy with her. Bittersweet, we are losing her to the world, but the world is gaining a treasure. Thanks again, blessings, Kathleen

Hello Patricia!

I am thrilled I found your blog just surfing away here! Your blog is beautiful and I have enjoyed my visit with you! I am putting you in my favorites! I love linens also! Yours are so pretty! I live in So. CA and my parents live in Santa Barbara, a sister in Solvang, and two others in the state. We had some unreal rain today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Maryjane

P.S. Are you a MaryJanes Farmgirl (.com) I am. I see you know Lea, isn't she a sweetheart!
