God is Good!

Thank you to all you lovely ladies for your words of faith and encouragement. It is truly such a blessing to have met to many beautiful women.

I've been away from blog-land much longer than needed.  Everything turned out well, after all. God is so good!  My son moved back home, though he is planning on getting "his own place", it will be her in San Antonio, or Austin this time. He's learned a lot, though not enough. At least this time, we'll be near by.

While I've been "gone", I've done some growing, a bit of traveling (to CA) and sewing.  I stitched up this tote for my sister-friend in CA.  It turned out ok, but it's not exactly what I had in mind.

I had such a hard time picking the fabrics. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to match what the fabric store has in stock and what you have in your mind?  I finally had to just work with what they had.

I gave it to my sister-friend for Christmas and she loved it!

I'm back to selling on eBay which seems to take up so much time. I'll try to post regularly but I have a feeling I'll be visiting you all more than I'll be posting.

Thank you again for all your kind words.
Patricia :o)

That bag is adorable! You should be making custom bags for the Stars!
You would pay BIG dollars for one of those!

It is so hard when they leave us...I like how you put it..for now some "rain must fall".

I'm glad you have taken some time away. But aren't we blessed to have this community of friends here in blogging? I know I am. It has helped me so much NOT to feel alone as my own begin fluttering from the nest. At least, so far, none of mine have gone far. ((hugs)) to you.

Hi Patricia, thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi. I too have taken some time off from blogging. Life caring for my Mom...she is recovering now from a hip fracture a couple weeks before Christmas. Poor thing sure has had an awful 2010. Here's to 2011 being a better year!

I just read your post in November about your son leaving home and now in this post I read he has returned. Praise God. We have to let our children test their wings from time to time. Eventually he will find the wind to soar with you behind him encouraging him. Stay strong and trust Him.

Warm hugs,
Pam
