I haven't been posting much or visiting your wonderful blogs lately because I had to have some minor surgery. It was sort-of an outpatient procedure except that they kept me for 23 hours so that it doesn't count as overnight. Like I said, it's nothing serious just one of those pesky "female" type things.
I was a little (understatement) nervous and depressed for about a week before the surgery. I couldn't get anything done and everything seemed like such a big chore. Even answering emails was difficult and I still have a slew to reply to that are almost three weeks old.
Now it's ten days after the surgery and I'm disappointed because I'm not back to normal yet. There were a couple of tiny complications, but, again, nothing major. It's funny how the doctor says minor but the body says major. Apparently I have 6 weeks of recovery. So much for such "minor" surgery!
Anyway, I didn't want you all to think I've forgotten about you. I'll be back to visiting when I have a little more energy. I have lots to share from before and I'm excited to see what all of you have been up to. See you soon!
Patricia :o)

Praying for a speedy recovery Paricia:>) I hope you are feeling better really soon!
(((Hugz My sister)))
I pray also for a speedy recovery, I too need some catching up time to visit my bloggy friends. I will check back to see how you are feeling.
Hugz and prayers Lorie
Dear Patricia, I was wondering why your blog hadn't been updated for a while. I'm sorry to hear you aren't recovering from your surgery as fast as you were led to believe. Hope you are resting enough! I had an ovarian cyst removed a few years ago, and felt so good at first, I was up doing the washing and most of my normal routine within a few weeks, but I came down with a thud very quickly! My doc. chastised me, saying I had to rest for six weeks, not two!
Do take care, I miss your regular linen updates!
Hugs,
Gina
Hi, it's good to see you back and I hope that you will soon be feeling better! Take good care of yourself. blessings,Kathleen
Sending a prayer to God to make you all better realllll soon. Never believe that anything in life is minor - especially when it involves a scalpel, pain meds and sutures. ha.

Sorry about your surgery, Patricia- glad to hear you're doing better! You've been missed... It's good to hear from you again!
Welcome back and GET PLENTY OF REST!
Umm - I think I am on that road. My 'female' surgery is going to be scheduled soon - maybe as early as next week.
Honey! I wish you had let me know so I could have run over there and taken care of litle you! I'm so sad that you aren't up to par. I'm calling you tomorrow so you'd better answer your phone. I want to hear your sweet voice.
Big big hugs from me,
Deanna :D
love love love you!!
Hope you're feeling better soon...it's very frustrating when you have things to do and can't do them. Sometimes though, you just have to rest and it give time. All our best wishes,
Margaret and Noreen
Oh, I remember the same thing happening to me a few years back, and it always takes longer than you think. Make sure you get plenty of rest, and nourish the cells with good nutrition and the soul with good Bible reading. Missed yours posts and beautiful things, but there is a time and season for everything under the sun. ((hugs))
Hopefully you are getting that rest!

Darling, I hope you are feeling better...I am finally free and all the families have left town with my own parents having left yesterday. It's sad that everyone is gone but we had been having relatives in for the past month and a half! Now that all the graduations are over with I hope we can get together again. I sure do miss you and the little angel. I had also lost my cell and it had traveled to Midland for a vacation and luckily my cousin sent it back to me after finding it on the floorboard of her backseat!
Well I'd better run. I've been having some eye issues for the past couple of days and I need to remove the lens from my right eye.
Missing you,
Deanna :D
Hi
I found your blog from blog hopping today :)
Thought Id say Hi!
:) Candy
I had minor (bladder) surgery in May and had my 6 weeks check up last Friday. It does take a while for your body to adjust after having surgery despite how minor. Take care and I hope everything goes well and you are feeling better soon.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
