I lived in Southern California for almost all my life. I was born in Argentina and moved to the United States when I was a wee little girl of three. I grew up loving this country and my beautiful home state of California.
We lived in a little California ranch house, or rambler for about 23 years. I don't know why they call them that. It wasn't a ranch and it was definitely too small for something that rambles on and on. My hubby, Floyd, works for a major aerospace company that was closing down one of its biggest plant, which is where he worked. He landed a job working for the same company, but in San Antonio, TX. He got the job in August 2007. We immediately put our house on the market and sold it in 17 days for a very fair price. We were so blessed to sell it so fast and for the right price. Floyd started work on September 14 and we were all moved in to our brand new home on Oct 1, 2007. What a whirlwind! We were so afraid that we wouldn't sell our house for months and that our family would be separated. But God was good and kept His hand on us through the whole move. I guess He is always watching out for us.
The house we bought is huge. I didn't realize how hard it would be to decorate when the rooms are big and my furniture is tiny. Everything had to be small in my old house. We've purchased some new furniture, but there's still so much to buy. Oh well, ya can't have everything! It will come, I'm sure. I just have to be patient...

Great job on your first post!! Oh my gosh....now you're a blogger!
Welcome to Blog Land, Patricia! For a first timer, your blog is very pretty and professional - I'm jealous, LOL! Seriously, I am so pleased to finally have another linen lover blog to visit, and drool over. Mine is updated with every piece of linen I buy, whether it is on eBay or at a thrift shop. I also post photos of any stitching project that I am working on. Looking forward to seeing your collection on here very soon - bit by bit!
